The year 2020 came with many challenges, but despite that, Google and Apple managed to release new phones to the market. Google and Apple both delayed the release of their flagship phones due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With both phones being released to the market, buyers were torn on choosing Pixel vs. iPhone.
As soon as the Google Pixel 4a was released, there was an exponential rise in the Pixel phone demand. It was affordable, considering it was Google’s latest brand. Also, many people bought because it is pocket-friendly, has a miniature size, comes with an incredible camera, and features exceptional software and affirmed updates
As the upgraded version of Pixel 3a, and considering the Pixel 3a’s popularity the previous year, Google pixel 4a was expected to measure up to Pixel 3a’s standards. Google expert David Imel’s opinion of the latest brand was quite impressive. He called it a no-brainer, stating that it gives users an impressive expression.
On the other hand, Apple’s iPhone 12 had quite an enormous increase in sales before its release. Although it is quite expensive, it is preferred because of its 5G network coverage, beautiful design with MagSafe, magnificent dual camera, and extensive battery lifespan.
Before buying any brand new phones in the market, it is good to make a comparison first. With both being the latest in the market, Google phone versus iPhone comparisons were made by buyers to determine which is the better model.
We also made our own comparison below:
The Google Pixel 4a has a 12MP camera sensor with a single lens, but the camera does not provide zoom features, wide viewing angle, and bigger sensors. Meanwhile, iPhone 12 has a dual camera with a 12mp sensor. It provides one ultra-wide-angle and one wide-angle camera. It also has a 12MP selfie camera.
Google Pixel has a 3140MAH battery that can last up to 6.6-7 hours on average use. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 has a 2815mah battery which can last up to 13 hours on browsing and a maximum of 12 hours on calls.
Google Pixel 4a has a resolution of 2340*1080 pixels and measures 5.8 inches in size with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display provides incredible components that come with greater angle viewing and screen measurement. On the other hand, iPhone 12 has a 6.1-inch retina display and a 2532*1170 resolution.
Google pixel 4a is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset with a 618 GPU Adreno. It also has a random access memory of 6 GB and a non-expandable 128GB internal storage. iPhone 12 is powered by an A14 bionic apple silicon processor with a 5nm process.
If you looking for a 5G iPhone then iPhone 12 has 5G internet connectivity that is upgraded from the previous model. It also supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WiFi standards. Aside from that, it can also support Bluetooth, headphones, and GPS connections. Meanwhile, Google pixel 4a supports Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth connections similar to the iPhone 12.
So which exactly is better? Is it the Pixel or iPhone? When it comes to the Pixel vs. iPhone battle, the iPhone is undeniably the best. It features a big display compared to the Google 4a pixel. The a14 bionic processor, dual cameras, and 5G internet connectivity make the iPhone 12 the better phone choice.
With its brand new design, iPhone 12 has a better standing chance than its previous models despite being too expensive. Is Google pixel better than iPhone? Well, although it has a good quality camera, its limited space options make it inferior to the iPhone.
The Google pixel 4a goes at £349, with the 5G version priced at £799. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 is priced at £799. If you want to get phones at a cheaper price, it is advisable to sign a 12-month contract. Contracts are always given by e-commerce sites that sell to you at discounted prices. On Amazon, iPhone 12 costs 829 dollars while on eBay, prices range from £799-£849. The Google Pixel 4a on Amazon is priced at 349 dollars and £369.99 on eBay.
If you try to compare iPhone and Google Pixel, you have to keep in mind that your budget will play a key factor in your comparison. The iPhone, of course, is the more expensive option, but Google Pixel isn’t a cheap one either.
Despite there being too many phones better than Pixel, it surely is a solid choice as far as affordability is concerned.
